How to cancel Ryanair
What its contract says about leaving.
We read the Ryanair terms on 28 April 2026. The company may have changed them since, and your contract may be different.
What the contract says about leaving
- Strict cabin and gate baggage enforcementRyanair gate staff routinely test bags in the sizer. Anything that does not fit is gate-tagged with a c.£70 fee. The 10 kg cabin bag is permitted only with Priority & 2 Cabin Bags or higher bundles.
This page does not explain how Ryanair handles cancelling (by phone, on its website or with a form). For that, see the company's own page.
This is not legal advice. It is a summary, made with the help of AI, of the terms the company publishes.
